The Tuesday Talks series returns to the Thomas Jefferson Gardens July 10 through Aug. 14.
Each Tuesday will feature a different topic from noon to 1 pm. Attendees can bring their own lunch or order a box lunch for $10. Those who plan to attend should call 515-386-2373 to register or order a lunch. Free will donations will be accepted.
The schedule for Tuesday Talks follows:
• July 10 – The Art of Historical Broom Making, Shannon Bardole-Foley
• July 17 – Perennial gardening, Rose Morrison
• July 24 – Beginnings of Greene County, Mary Weaver
• July 31 – Florist tips, Jean Walker
• Aug. 7 – Growing for a Food Pantry, Tracy Blackmer
• Aug. 14 – Birds in Our Garden, Matt Wetrich
All are welcome. The Thomas Jefferson Gardens/ Welcome Center are located at 201 E. Lincoln Way in Jefferson.
